In 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic spread loneliness and isolation, small acts of kindness, including handwritten notes and letters, became increasingly more meaningful. The Dear Edmonds Greeting Card Campaign began with three objectives: to foster creativity, encourage connection and support local non-profit organizations. 89 artists of all ages generously shared their time and talent to create 1047 handmade greeting cards. Watercolor, acrylic, collage, encaustic painting, crayon, pen and ink, photography and more…. Beginner and accomplished artists were inspired to create a truly remarkable collection. The cards were then sold with proceeds donated to the Edmonds Food Bank, WA Kids in Transition, and the Edmonds Senior Center.
